Ollie gives his take on intelligent approaches to MMA conditioning, with in insight into his evidence based, holistic approach.

“Whether people want to admit it or not, max strength is the physical characteristic that underpins all the others. If you get stronger, you get more powerful, if you get stronger, you increase your rate of force development, if you get stronger, your mechanical efficiency is increased and therefore your conditioning is improved (there are 100’s of research papers that indicate this). So with this in mind, my philosophy is initially based around developing max strength.”
